Richard Perryman, President
Dr. Perryman has been passionately pursuing authentic health care solutions for over 12 years now. Prior to co-founding LifeStrive Corporate Wellness, this pursuit led to the founding of Health Coach™ Corporate Wellness Centers in Phoenix, Arizona in 1996 where he developed corporate wellness programs that are still in existence for corporations such as Qwest, Maricopa County and AT&T.
These wellness programs are unique as they combine the expertise of alternative medicine, physical therapy, naturopathy and allopathic medicine towards the realization of corporate wellness goals in a model of assessment and education-based patient care. Health Coach™ Corporate Wellness Centers has become a model for successful integrated practice consistently.
In 2001, Dr. Perryman became a partner in NutriScan® with the company's directive being to solve the dilemma delivering customized nutrient solutions to the public in a safe and scientific manner with emphasis on evidence-based science and an individual's unique medical and lifestyle history. The result is a program that educates the public while protecting them from the fads, unsubstantiated claims and dangerous interactions so common to the supplement industry.
NutriScan has received accolades from some of the most well respected and successful integrated health professionals in North America and is now utilized by hundreds of practitioners and results-oriented fitness facilities.
In conjunction with the development of LifeStrive, Dr. Perryman has turned his focus to coaching other health and fitness professionals with a similar passion for authentic health solutions with the founding of Opinion Leaders™ Wellness Consulting. Opinion Leaders™ seeks out the co-creation of the truest and most insightful health and fitness practitioners to create a consulting offering with many industry-firsts like certified multidisciplinary compliance programs, web-based functional outcomes platforms, and web-based corporate health, nutrition and lifestyle programs insuring all members are compliant and current while being on the leading edge of the marketing and identity re-creation curve.
Dr. Perryman believes the greatest single opportunity in health care today is in the delivery of corporate health initiatives. In his words " As the key stakeholders in health care, corporations have as much to gain or lose as anyone from a clear and decisive shift away from our current disease-management model to a more integrated and responsible health promotion system".
Dr. Perryman's new Wellness Training Academy is located in Phoenix, Arizona where he provides like-minded health and fitness professionals the skills necessary to become a player in this new and very exciting market of corporate wellness.
